From October 19th to 25th, a special training course on the industrialization development of Guangxi’s building decoration and renovation industry, hosted by the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was successfully held at Tongji University. Meng Yeming, Chairman of Guangxi Nanning Mingyuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., a green factory, specialized and innovative enterprise, and a key leading enterprise in the autonomous region’s forestry industry, was invited to participate in the training and embark on this “recharging and empowering” journey with industry colleagues.
Training purpose
This training program, centered on “Promoting High-Quality Development of the Construction Industry,” focused on cutting-edge trends in the decoration and renovation industry. Through lectures by industry experts and analysis of outstanding enterprise case studies, it guided practitioners to embrace new ideas and innovate. In the classroom at Tongji University, Chairman Meng Yeming delved into key topics such as green building materials R&D, intelligent production upgrades, and collaborative development of the industrial chain, with a particular emphasis on benchmarking against the advanced experiences of companies outside the province in their industrial transformation.
Guangxi’s forestry and grassland industry has ranked first nationwide in total output value for three consecutive years, reaching RMB 1.069 trillion. This represents not only an opportunity but also a responsibility. During the training program, Chairman Meng Yeming stated that since its establishment in 2005, Mingyuan Wood Industry has remained deeply committed to the field of green and environmentally friendly panel materials. Today, the company operates an eco-panel factory with an annual production capacity of 150,000 cubic meters, as well as a custom furniture manufacturing facility covering 600,000 square meters.
As a green factory, a “specialized and innovative” enterprise, a regionally recognized Enterprise Technology Center, a National High-Tech Enterprise, and a key leading enterprise in the autonomous region, this training program served as a valuable bridge for the company to connect with the forefront of the industry. The training content on prefabricated interior decoration and green factory development aligns closely with Mingyuan Wood Industry’s strategic direction and provides new ideas for the company’s future technological upgrades.
The week-long training has successfully concluded. Chairman Meng Yeming will lead Mingyuan Wood Industry to transform the training results into practical action, drawing upon the knowledge and insights gained. The company will continue to strengthen its advantages in environmentally friendly wood-based panel R&D, promote intelligent upgrading of production, and contribute to the transformation of Guangxi’s forestry industry from “leading in scale” to “superior in quality” through high-quality enterprise development, injecting practical strength into the industrialization of the region’s building decoration and renovation industry.
